Crimea is getting closer for residents of Yekaterinburg, Murmansk and Kislovodsk. On the website of the Grand Service Express − operator of railway transportation to Crimea − ticket sales for the trains in these cities started. Reportedly, they can also be purchased at all railway ticket offices and in the GSE Tickets mobile application. 

Yekaterinburg – Simferopol 

So, trains from Yekaterinburg to Simferopol will be on the route 2 days 19 hours 35 minutes. For passengers’ convenience, there are reserved seats and compartment carriages in the train. The price for a reserved seat ticket starts from 4551 rubles ($70), a compartment carriage ticket − from 5177 rubles ($80).

Trains from Yekaterinburg to the Crimean capital will depart several times a week. To meet the demand, they will follow different routes − via Volgograd (goes via Saratov, Samara, Ufa and Chelyabinsk) and via Kazan (goes via Kanash, Saransk, Penza). The first train will leave on April 25 and will go via Samara.  

Murmansk – Simferopol 

On the same day, April 25, railway traffic to Crimea from Murmansk will start. Travel time will be 3 days 21 hours 10 minutes. The train will include both reserved seats and compartment carriages. The price of a ticket in the reserved seat carriages starts from 5126 rubles ($79), in compartment carriages − 5826 rubles ($81).

South coast of Crimea
A Murmansk-Simferopol train will depart once every nine days and will go via Obozyorsk, Vologda, Danilov, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Kovrov, Dzerzhinsk, Petryayevka (Nizhny Novgorod), Arzamas, Penza, Rostov-on-Don. 

Moscow – Sevastopol 

The first train from the Russian capital to the Hero City of Sevastopol will leave on April 27. Travel time will be 1 day 14 hours 10 minutes. There will be carriages of different comfort classes. The price in a reserved seat carriages starts from 3056 rubles ($47), in a compartment carriages − from 3525 ($54).

The train will go via Ryazan, Michurinsk, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar. The train will depart every other day. 

Kislovodsk – Simferopol 

And on April 29 the first train will depart from Kislovodsk for Simferopol. Travel time will be 21 hours and 40 minutes. There will be reserved seats carriages and compartment carriages in the train, the price of a seat in the first starts from 1630 rubles ($25), in the latter − from 2446 rubles ($38).

The Kislovodsk-Simferopol train will depart twice a week and will go via Pyatigorsk, Mineralnyeh Vody, Nevinnomyssk, Armavir, Kropotkin, Krasnodar.  

Saint Petersburg – Eupatoria 

The first train from the northern capital of Russia to the Eupatoria resort city will depart on April 28. Travel time will be 1 day 19 hours 55 minutes. Passengers will also be offered both compartment and reserved seats carriages. The price of a reserved seat will be from 3659 rubles ($56), in a compartment carriage − from 4190 rubles ($65). Trains will depart every other day. 

Moscow – Eupatoria 

Trains between Moscow and Eupatoria − the resort city in western Crimea − will start going from May 2 every other day. Travel time between the departure the destination points will be 1 day 13 hours 15 minutes.  The train will also include reserved seats carriages and compartment carriages. In the first the ticket price starts from 2934 rubles ($45), in the latter − from 4442 rubles ($68).  

Moscow – Theodosia 

The train traffic from Moscow to Theodosia will start from May 4. Trains will depart several times a week. Travel time will be 1 day 4 hours 10 minutes. It will be possible to get from one city to another both in the reserved seat cars and in the compartment carriages. The price of a reserved seat ticket starts from 2667 rubles ($41), in a compartment carriage − from 3904 rubles ($60).

Saint Petersburg – Theodosia 

The railway traffic between the northern capital of Russia and Theodosia starts on May 7. Trains will be on the way 1 day 16 hours 30 minutes. They will include both reserved seats and compartment carriages. The seat price in a reserved seat starts at 3540 rubles ($55), in a compartment – 5174 rubles ($80). Trains will run between the two cities twice a week.

As reported, the seats in all the carriages of the trains to Crimea are equipped with individual lighting, sockets and USB-connectors for recharging mobile devices. Climate control works in automatic mode. The Tavria information and entertainment complex operates on board − it is a travel library, as well as music and movies for passengers. 

And on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory, participants and people disabled in the war, as well as persons accompanying them, will provided with free travel in sleeping or compartment carriages during all of 2020.
