Discover the South of Russia for yourself from a new side thanks to the Golden Ring of the Bosporus Kingdom tourist route. It was laid in places where the ancient kingdom’s heritage has been preserved: in the towns of Crimea, Krasnodar and Rostov Regions.
The most spectacular part of the Golitsyn Trail is the initial stretch. Stonemasons cut a horizontal trail into the rock above the sea. If you look down, you see a precipice into the sea, and if you look up, you see a precipice into the sky.
This travel itinerary covering the territory of the ancient kingdom was developed by the Russian Geographical Society and the participating regions. The route includes Sevastopol and ten cities and towns in the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory and the Rostov Region.
