At the entrance guests will be met by actors dressed as the princely couple Peter and Fevronia of Murom. They will lead visitors to an arch of daisies (a symbol of the holiday), where they can take photos to remember the day.
Love, Family and Chersonese theatrical tour will be there from 10:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. Its participants will get acquainted with the family of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II, with the princely couple of Peter and Fevronia of Murom, with Count Alexéi Uvárov and his wife Praskóvya, as well as with Anna Akhmátova and Nikolai Gumilyóv. They will accompany the tour group on the journey and will talk about their emotions from visiting Chersonese. Sevastopol actors will appear in the images of these historical characters.
From 11:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m., an alley of family craft traditions will be open in the preserve. Artisans from the Chamber of Crafts of Sevastopol will introduce everyone to pottery, the manufacture of folk dolls, Divéyevo clay toys, patchwork, artistic woodworking, leather art, Petrikóvskaya painting, textile toys, and mosaics works from Crimean stones.
There will also be an interactive exhibition of folk toys from different regions of Russia. There you can see a model of a Slavic house with an interior. A pleasant surprise for the guests will be a photo zone with characters resembling bast crafts and life-size puppets.
On the alley near the Byzantine yard there will be the Patron Saints of the Family stand exhibition. It will tell about famous married couples in the history of our country.
The holiday will end with the concert − Chosen by Love. It will be held from 05:00 p.m. to 07:00 p.m. in the Byzantine yard. The Sevastopol Symphony Orchestra will play for the guests works by Antonio Vivaldi and Astor Piazzolla.
