Opening of Crimea for guests from other regions of Russia is planned for July 1. This was announced by the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko during an online conference on preparation for the season.

The participants of the online conference were: the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko, Chief State Sanitary Doctor in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol Natalya Penkovskaya, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina, heads of administrations of the Crimean resort regions, owners and top managers of Crimean accommodation facilities, tour operators and travel agencies, tour companies, leaders of the industry associations, beach users − more than 200 representatives of the government and business.
"We are entering the most critical stage of the season start. In the first month of the tourism industry’s operation, Crimea may receive from a million to one and a half million tourists. All necessary security measures and all relevant recommendations of the Rospotrebnadzor (the Russian Authority for Consumer Protection) should be fully implemented", — the minister said and added that next week the ministry’s staff will begin monitoring all accommodation facilities for compliance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor.

And besides, now it is also important for the heads of administrations of Crimean resort regions to monitor the tourism infrastructure.
"Monitoring of general sanitary condition of the resort areas, parking lots, access roads to beaches and tourist attractions, cleaning the territories of municipalities, monitoring beach areas and observing safety requirements for recreation near water − all this is under the responsibility of administrations and will be checked by raids of the Ministry of Resort and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea and other departments concerned", — the minister said.
According to Natalya Penkovskaya, Chief State Sanitary Doctor in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, due to compliance with the rules, a number of restrictions were lifted by stages in Crimea and the region is preparing to launch the holiday season. And now the success of the summer campaign depends on the comprehensive implementation of all the recommendations of Rospotrebnadzor and the responsibility of managers in tourism industry.
"We are ready to receive tourists, including those from other regions of Russia. But the success of our summer season depends on how comprehensively all the necessary measures are implemented. Our task is that the holiday season, which starts on July 1, be safe, and then it will be successful", — N.Penkovskaya emphasized.
As it was already reported, from June 15, health resorts of the peninsula can accommodate Crimeans. As for the interregional tourism, residents of other regions of the Russian Federation will be able to come on vacations to Crimea from July 1.
