Since there is a mask wearing requirement in Crimea, personal protective means must be worn in the terminal building and at the airport public areas. On the territory of the airport complex it is also necessary to maintain a social distance of at least 1.5 meter from other visitors, as indicated by information signs in the places of potential concentration of passenger in the terminal.

Sanitary cleaning of the Simferopol airport premises is done intensively every two to three hours with the use of disinfectants. Particular attention is paid to public areas, airport vehicles and such items as door handles, escalator rails, reception desks and other frequently touched surfaces. The baggage sorting equipment is also regularly cleaned with disinfectants.
