On July 16 and 17 Koktebel will host a festival of malt and hops. Craft beer producers will present their products. Such an event will be held in Crimea for the first time. It will be held as part of the Sea of Food gastronomic festival, the organizers said.
Participants from the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and Krasnodar will gather at one place. They will present their unusual and unique varieties of original foamy drink.
"According to representatives of the breweries, 90% of the ingredients used to make the drink are produced in our country. A full production process provides for creating a product that is unique in its kind. We can safely say that it has no analogues in the composition of taste anywhere in the world. More than 100 varieties of beer will be presented at the venue," the organizers said.
The festival will host tastings of different varieties of barley malt drink, and you may buy those you like. At the same time, everyone will be offered to try their capability in interactive hot dog eating contests and participate in many other competitions.
There will also be a themed food court with a varied festival menu.
The festival of malt and hops, as well as the Sea of Food holiday will be held in the renovated Moreh (Sea) public space (Koktebel, 144b Lenina St.).
