More than 20 paintings are exposed to visitors: non-standard still lifes created in the technique of acrylic painting and mixed technique. All works were painted in 2019-2021.

"The artist's works reflect modern artistic styles and approaches, creative searches for new pictorial forms and means of expression with the help of light and color spot. One of the main ideas of the exhibition is to show the complexity of the modern world and the art in it. The artist puts ideas that excite him into his works, by means of the names and color schemes. His works reflect philosophical and conceptual approach to painting," they noted in the press service.

Dmitry Nikolayev was born in 1969 in Eupatoria. He studied at the local children's art school, graduated from the Rostov State Pedagogical Institute (art and graphic faculty). Since 1996, he has been working in the Golden Key international complex-center (since 2019 − Crimean State Youth Theater). Currently he is a director of the theater.

Dmitry Nikolayev works in the genres of marina, nude, conceptual art, impressionism, genre painting, portrait and still life. He constantly participates in professional exhibitions in Crimea and beyond.
