This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.

"In Crimea during the New Year’s holidays more than 300 hotels and health resorts plan to receive guests and residents of the Republic. Each of the operating accommodation facilities assumed legal obligations in 2020 to comply with all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Federal Consumer Protection Authority)," the Ministry informed.

According to the order of the Ministry of Resorts, during this period, the following recommendations were given to ensure a safe stay in hotels and health resorts:  

− Access control is established for the personnel with obligatory non-contact body thermometry at the entrance. Employees with symptoms of infectious diseases are not allowed to work.  

− General cleaning is carried out with the use of disinfectants in accommodation facilities before the reception of guests. Employees without personal protective equipment are not allowed to serve tourists. 

− In health resorts and hotels, control over the mandatory use of personal protective equipment by personnel and vacationers is carried out, as well as the opportunity for guests to purchase masks and gloves in sufficient quantities.

− Crowding of tourists is prohibited (including at registration, arrival and departure), social distancing is ensured at the registration desks (at least 1.5 m) by applying signal markings. 

− Dispensers with skin antiseptics (if possible − contactless) are installed in all public places, in closed rooms the functioning of air recirculators is ensured in an appropriate number and capacity.

− Transport for vacationers servicing (transfer, excursions, etc.) is disinfected. When it is occupied by passengers, social distancing is also observed.

− Placement of tables in dining rooms is in compliance with social distancing of at least 1.5 m. Each table is for people living in the same room or members of the same family. 

− Catering services should be provided in accordance with the general mode of operation and the chosen type of food (breakfast, half board, full board, etc.), ensuring the minimum number of visitors and the maximum separation of the flows of guests and external visitors.

Sanatoriums
We remind you that according to the Decree of the Head of Crimea, from December 20, 2020 to January 15, 2021 in the Republic of Crimea it is prohibited to provide services for holding any events that bring people together for the same event (banquets, weddings, other solemn and corporate events, concerts, show programs, master classes, animation programs and other entertainment and entertainment events) in hotel complexes, SPA hotels, health resorts and other accommodation facilities, including in open areas. In addition, during this period from 10:00 p.m to 08:00 a.m. the work of catering places is prohibited, they can provide only take-away servicing. 

Facilities for physical exercises and sports, swimming pools, saunas, SPA and the like can work only if the principles of social distancing of at least 1.5 m are observed and all sanitary and epidemiological requirements are met (disinfection, functioning of air recirculators). Group attendance of swimming pools and water aerobics classes are allowed if there is no more than 1 visitor per 5 square meters of water surface. 

The medical procedures in health resorts are delivered on the appointment basis. Group procedures are allowed only with observing social distancing.
