So, during this period banquets, wedding parties, corporate events, concerts − including those on the territory of hotel complexes, spa hotels, health resorts – will be prohibited. Though, accommodation facilities will continue their work in compliance with all relevant requirements of Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Consumer Protection Authority), the Ministry of Resorts of the Republic informed.
Also, during the specified period, discos, karaoke clubs, hookah lounges, nightclubs, concert and dance halls, including those located on the territory of cafés and restaurants, will be prohibited from 10:00 p.m. to 08:00 a.m. Restrictions also apply to fast food outlets. They will be allowed to serve the customers only with take-away packages.
Restrictions during this period will also be imposed on the weekends and holidays working hours of entertainment outlets. All New Year's cultural events will also be prohibited on the territory of city public squares, houses of culture, theaters, circuses, shopping, entertainment and sports complexes, as well as in schools.
The work of theaters, cinemas and circuses is possible, though on a limited basis. On the New Year's holidays they will be allowed to fill the halls only to 30% of their sitting capacity. As for museums, they will be able to provide excursion services only for groups of no more than 10 people and subject to social distance and disinfection.
"The decision on restrictions on the New Year's holiday activities was made in advance. The industry will have more than a month to prepare for the change in work, which is more than enough. The main thing today is the safety of residents and guests of Crimea, and this is a necessary measure to prevent new outbreaks of coronavirus infection in the region," Minister of Resorts and Tourism Vadim Volchenko emphasized.
He also added that tomorrow at the Ministry of Resorts videoconferencing with industry representatives will begin to specify the changes in the work. Appeals and questions will also be accepted over the hotline of the ministry at 8(800)5118018. Calls from landline and mobile phones are free. All calls from residents and guests of Crimea that come to the Ministry of Resorts hotline will be considered and answered right away.
As reported, there are 367 accommodation facilities in operation today in Crimea, 71 of them are health resorts.
