Specialists of the Onetwotrip online travel service analyzed ticket reservations and found that Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Krasnodar, Simferopol, Mineralnyeh Vody and Rostov-on-Don are the most popular destinations among Russians. RIA Novosti reports about this with reference to the acquired data.
"It is interesting that travelers are actively looking for tickets for planes and trains to the same cities − they are probably compare prices to understand how to get to the place with economy," the experts noted.
The average flight price within Russia this December is 35% lower than a year ago. For a one-way ticket, travelers pay about 4.8 thousand rubles ($ 64), experts say. As for railway tickets, the average year’s price has remained practically unchanged and amounts to 2.6 thousand rubles ($ 35).
