"Crimea is always ready to receive guests, but this season is clearly different from any other: we are aware of serious restrictions and quite serious responsibility for all hoteliers, health resorts managers, and for all Crimeans. As we are launching interregional tourism today, we understand that at least 1.5 million of our long-awaited vacationers will come to us in the first month. And this also imposes certain obligations on all of us", — the Minister said.

According to him, the number of accommodation facilities, which have committed themselves to begin work in compliance with all the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor (the Russian Authority for Consumer Protection) this season, is growing daily in Crimea.
"And the task of hoteliers is to comply with all these recommendations. And we actually help them to do it. Each of them has assumed obligations and must understand that the fulfillment of these requirements is imperative", — said Vadim Volchenko.

The Minister also stressed that the high season in the region has good prospects to last up to 5-6 months.
"The high season in Crimea is July-August. We have very good prospects to work even in September-October, and, in principle, until the New Year. Everything is in our hands. And our task is to ensure that at least 5-6 months a year is a high season. But at the same time, we need to talk about prospects and plans for next year, to understand what we can improve, because these restrictions can remain for a sufficiently long time", —concluded Vadim Volchenko.
