The surviving objects of the ancient era, which are now under the sea, will be included in the cross-regional tourist route "Golden Ring" of the Bosporan Kingdom, TASS quotes Ivan Chaika, Chairman of the Krasnodar Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society. 

"We are now considering the possibility of developing such a kind of tourism as underwater tourism. There are interesting excavations under water and there is interest in making these objects publicly accessible. Next year we are planning to launch two such sites in Crimea, and now we are working on a security issue", — said Ivan Chaika, adding that soon those sites will be officially presented.

At the same time, the developers of this grand tour route intend to develop in 2020 not only the maritime part of the tour, but also all the subprojects: "Wine Roads of the Bosporus Kingdom", "Sails of the Bosporus", "From the Bosporus to Byzantium", and also expand them to new sites.

The Golden Ring of the Bosporan Kingdom is a cross-regional tourist route jointly developed by the relevant departments of the Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and the Rostov Region. The project provides for the organization of expeditions and tours, conferences, photo exhibitions and festivals. The overall coordination of the project is performed by the Russian Geographical Society with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism. The route positions Russia in the international arena as one of the unique centers of ancient culture and civilization. In April President Vladimir Putin mentioned the route as an example of demonstrating the diversity of Russian history.
