Event tourism in Crimea unfolds intensively. Every year thousands of guests plan their visit to Crimea at the time of particular festivals, concerts or sports and entertainment programs.

The Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the region Vadim Volchenko recommended that guests should look through the posters of events in the area where they spend their vacations since there are a lot of vivid and interesting events and they take place everywhere.

"Let us say that on August 23-25 the Koktebel Jazz Party, a traditional large-scale festival of world-class jazz stars, will take place on the East Coast. After that on August 27-28 in Koktebel for the first time in Crimea the Rap Koktebel — a festival of youth rap culture and music is planned to take place", — V.Volchenko told RIA Novosti in his interview.

In August the Tavrida-Art – a music festival, new for Crimea will be held in Sudak. It will bring rock and rap musicians on its stages. Here, in Sudak, another event — grand knight’s festival – The Genoese Helmet is held every summer.

In August, the sports and music festival Crimean Wave. Tarkhankut is planned to take place. For three days Russian pop stars will perform there. In Crimea many music festivals are mixed with gastronomic events and this became popular attraction for tourists.

"This is the style of the ZB Fest, which, in my opinion, is one of the most vivid musical events in the country. It is a large-scale concert in the vineyards near Balaklava", — the minister added.

The City Day in Yalta will be held on a grand scale. It is traditionally a favourite holiday for citizens with a big concert of pop stars on the Embankment, crowned with the festival of fireworks. The minister also recommended to visit Opera in Chersonesus and Music in Palaces, when the masterpieces of opera and classical music are performed in the open at world’s famous tourist attraction places.
