Since the beginning of the year, 3,346,000 tourists visited Crimea. It is reported by the Crimea Republic Ministry of Resorts and Tourism. According to the Ministry this is 11% more than the figures for the same period last year.
"62% of all tourists visiting the Republic arrived via the Crimean Bridge. So, since the beginning of 2019, about 1 million 74 thousand vehicles, including about 16 thousand 700 buses, arrived in Crimea via the Bridge. The average occupancy of the operating accommodation facilities is 79%", – it was specified at the Ministry.
Most of all accommodation is sought in the six tourist regions of Crimea. "In the Chernomorskiy district occupancy of the accommodation facilities is 93%, in Alushta — 88%, in the Bakhchisaray district — 86%, in the town of Saki — 83%, in Yevpatoria — 83% and in Sudak — 79%", — the spokesman of the Ministry noted.
