Excursions to the shrines of Simferopol
On November 4, two free tours dedicated to the inter-confessional shrines of Simferopol will be held in the Crimean capital. Participants will see cathedrals, a church, a kenassa, learn their long and interesting history.
The walking tours will start at 11:00 a.m. and 01:30 p.m. Groups gather and start from the Kebir-Jami mosque (4 Kurchatov St.).
The route will go along Karaimskaya (Proletarskaya) Street, the sightseers will see the Karaite kenassa, then they will go to Odessa Street, where Orthodox shrines are located (Holy Trinity Cathedral, the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul) and the first church of Simferopol (Catherine Church), then the participants of the excursion will go to the Alexander Nevskiy Cathedral, where the first city square was once located. The tour will end at the Lutheran church.

Sightseeing tours of "Little Jerusalem"
November 4 at 10:00 a.m. a free tour of the "Little Jerusalem" will begin in Eupatoria. The tour group will start from the Tourist Information Center of the city at the address: 1/2 Tuchina St.
It will be a walk through the narrow streets of the centuries-old Eupatoria with a story about architectural and historical monuments, cultural heritage sites, as well as the culture, traditions and customs of the peoples living in the ancient city, the organizers said.
Tourists will learn where the marble from the Turkish baths has gone, why visitors are not allowed to the second floor of the Yevpatoriya synagogue, where they can taste the national dishes of the disappearing karait people, when the defensive walls of ancient Kerkinitida were discovered, how old they are and many other interesting things.

Unknown facts from the life of the legendary General Kotlyarevskiy − excursion-investigation
November 4 at 11:00 a.m. everyone willing to go on the excursion-investigation, are invited to the Fountain of Lovers in Theodosia.
The sightseers will learn about fate and the course of life of the outstanding Russian General Pyotr Kotlyarevskiy, "Suvorov of the Caucasus", the military commander, praised by Pushkin, ended his days in Theodosia.
Using hints, participants of the excursion-investigation will be able to find the burial place of the famous general. And then, walking through the landmarks of the ancient city, they will learn about the childhood of Pyotr Kotlyarevskiy and how he acquired his military skills. Tourists will also be told about another legendary Russian commander Semyon Bronevsky, the city's dynasty of merchants Rukavishnikovs and other people who glorified Theodosia.
The guide will tell tourists what role Kotlyarevskiy played in the popularity of another famous Theodosian, the world-famous seascape painter Ivan Aivazovsky, which places of worship he was related to and many more interesting historical facts.
