The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the coming out of the state flag of the Russian Federation and a copy of the Banner of Victory.
The parade will be opened by a company of drummers − cadets of the Nakhímov Naval School. After them, to the accompaniment of a combined military orchestra, two parade battalions and 12 companies will march: a guard company, a combined company of female military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet, personnel of the Marine Corps of the Crimean Naval Base, cadets of the Nakhímov Black Sea Higher Naval School and the military training center at the Sevastopol State University. Units of the National Guard of Russia, Sevastopol departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, cadets and members of Young Nakhímov School and Young Army Corps will also take part in the parade.
The mechanized part of the parade will involve armored personnel carriers BTR-80, Bastion coastal missile system, S-400 air defense system launchers, Pantsir anti-aircraft missile system, D-30 towed howitzer, Grad-M multiple launch rocket system vehicles, Tiger and UAZ Patriot light four-wheel drive military personnel carriers, etc. The parade column of vehicles will be led by the legendary T-34 tank.
General parade training will be held on May 3 and 5 on the Lenin St. from 06:00 to 08:00 p.m. The dress rehearsal will take place on May 7 from 10:00 to 12:00 a.m.
In Crimea, Victory parades will also be held in Kerch and Simferopol on May 9.
