The Museum and Preserve Tauric Chersonesos invites you to daily Chersonesos − an Open-Air Museum, sightseeing tours designed to expose the history of the ancient city, its archaeological sites and the then life of its inhabitants.
"During the tour you will visit the ruins of Tauric Chersonesos, which will tell you about the peculiarities of the development of the city in the ancient and Byzantine periods. Guests will also learn about the most important events of the distant past, which spiritually held together the two states, two civilizations – principality of Russia and the Eastern Roman Empire," the press service of the museum noted.
Tours are held daily at 10:00 and 12:00 a.m., at 02:00 and 04:00 p.m. for groups of 5 to 10 people. Their duration is one and a half hour. For tour operators, it is possible to organize excursions upon prior request (with the obligatory indication of the number of people).
