The Bakhchisaray − Yalta highway over the Ai-Petri plateau is closed until March 1. Traffic is temporarily prohibited for all vehicles. This was reported by the Crimean Road Service.

"From 00:00 on January 28, 2022 to 00:00 on March 1, 2022, the traffic of all vehicles on the Bakhchisarai − Yalta highway over the Ai-Petri plateau has been temporarily stopped. It was done in order to ensure road safety due to the threat of snow avalanches, sticking of wet snow and ice on the road," the ministry announced.

Relevant road signs will be installed on that part of the road.
