The level of accommodation facilities booking for the New Year holidays in Crimea is on average 60%, and in some large family resorts it reaches 80-90%. The Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko announced this on the air of Sputnik in Crimea radio.
According to him, early booking provides tourists with a wide choice and an opportunity to save money. As for the offered tour operators' packages, they allow to choose travel, including flights and an excursion program.
"Practically in every hotel there are still vacant rooms, there is still an opportunity to stay. But first of all, tourists choose the most economical options. Therefore, there is a practice of early booking: if you want to book your vacation at the most favorable price for any period in any country in the world, you need to book in advance. If you have not done so, you can study the offers of tour operators and travel agents. In addition, the hotels themselves often announce special promotions closer to the holiday dates," the Minister said.
Speakers at the "Domestic tourism in Russia and COVID-19: preservation or development" plenary section at the inter-regional forum "Intourmarket. Open Crimea", which will be held in Alushta on November 18-19 in a hybrid format, will tell about the occupancy of the accommodation facilities of the tourist industry, about new offers and trends of the coming season, about mechanisms of booking and extending of high season.
Large tour operators will share their analytical studies, representatives of the authorities of the resort regions will talk about the development of their own travel programs for the winter holidays. The Forum will be attended by the most outstanding representatives of business. The possibilities of online connection will allow an unlimited number of listeners to join the discussions.
