"In general, the level of booking of accommodation facilities in September — October averages 70% in the Republic of Crimea. At the same time, a number of hotels are booked up to 80-100% of their capacity both in September and in October. And the health resorts of the peninsula are on average occupied by 70-80% in September, for a number of outlets the occupancy rate is 90-95%," said Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko.
According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) analytical service, Crimea ranks fourth in the ranking of affordable tourist regions. Experts noted a decrease in the minimum price for recreation by more than 45% compared to last year, the Ministry of Resorts noted.
Crimea also takes first place in the ATOR rating according to the analysis of average prices for a quality beach vacation at the end of September. In particular, according to the Tvil.ru Russian accommodation booking service, Eupatoria topped the most popular destinations for vacation in cottages this autumn. Accommodation here is booked on average for 10 days for 3 thousand rubles (about $ 40) per day.
And according to the Federal Agency for Tourism (Rosturizm), the peninsula, along with the Krasnodar Territory, has become the most popular destination for outdoor activities recreation in Russia.
