"We are actively working on preparations for the 6th Yalta International Economic Forum. Let me remind you that last year we had to postpone it due to the coronavirus pandemic. So, it was decided to limit the number of participants in order to work out the Forum Program as efficiently as possible for those who attend it. Approximately 2,500 participants are expected to come this year. Nevertheless, the number of foreign delegations to be present personally at YIEF can be increased," the head of the RK said.
In turn, Andrey Nazarov, Deputy Chairman of the YIEF Organizing Committee, noted that the Yalta Forum will continue to set trends in international politics, and its participants will try to look "beyond the horizon of the future" to ensure sustainable development of Russia.
"Investments are the main source of economic growth. However, the last year experience, when the world faced the coronavirus pandemic, made us look much broader at the existing mechanisms for the development of economic potential. ‘The Day After Tomorrow’ – this is the name of the topic which is the 6th YIEF main message and will be cross-cutting in the entire business program," Andrei Nazarov added.
We remind you that the Yalta International Economic Forum will be held from 4 to 6 November 2021 in Yalta. It will be timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Republic of Crimea as part of the Russian Federation.
YIEF has secured the status of an effective international platform for discussions on social and economic development, where the current agenda and current challenges facing the world economy are discussed.
