"This is not my first visit to Crimea. Right now I am not on an official visit. We do not travel our country on official visits!" the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said and offered to have a talk with the youth.
During the talks, young artists spoke about the art cluster, asked questions and even invited the Minister to the Tavrida.ART festival, which will take place in Kapsel Bay near Sudak on September 8-12. Young talents from 66 regions of the country gathered for a meeting with Sergei Lavrov. The "Delicious Jazz" educational session brought together professional jazzmen and chefs, as well as photographers and videographers.
According to the Minister, projects like the Tavrida art cluster make an invaluable contribution to human capital and the development of our country. He urged the participants of the session to develop their international relations and establish interaction with similar youth projects abroad.
He also suggested organizing a contest on the topic of a possible exchange of projects with the countries of Europe and Asia "under the auspices of events that symbolize friendly ties between Russia and partner countries."
In addition, the "Tavridavites" were asking the Minister simple human questions: his attitude to charity and volunteering. Professional chefs wanted to know the taste preferences of the Foreign Minister, and it turned out that Lavrov's favorite dish is borscht. On departure the minister was presented with a symbolic souvenir from Tavrida with the image of one of the symbols of the art cluster − the "Man by the Sea" art installation.
