From 13 to 19 September the stage of the Lavrenyov Drama Theater of the Black Sea Fleet will host the 2nd ART-Bukhta International Festival of Professional Dance Theaters.
According to the organizers − the Yelizarov Sevastopol Academic Dance Theater − dance groups from Russian cities of various styles (ballroom, pop and folk dance, modern choreography) will show their performances.
The New Ballet musical theater of plastic ballet from Moscow will perform The Winter Rose (September 14 at 07:00 p.m.) and The Dangerous Liaisons (September 17 at 07:00 p.m.).
The audience will Also be able to assess the dancers of the Izhevsk Silence and Dance Theater, namely: their Onegin performance in the style of street dance (September 17 at 03:00 p.m.) and The Wizard of Oz performance, which combines modern choreography with sand animation (September 18 at 11:00 a.m.).
The Astrakhan Dance Theater is also announced among the participants: the troupe will surprise with the Around the World in 80 Days (September 15 at 07:00 p.m.) and Dancing Life (September 18 at 07:00 p.m.) performances.
In addition, the artists of the Sevastopol Dance Theater will perform ‘hors concours’: they will show their famous Pygmalion (at the opening of the festival − September 13 at 07:00 p.m.) and Bloody Wedding (September 16 at 07:00 p.m.).
And on the closing day of the festival (September 19 at 07:00 p.m.) a gala concert will be given, in which all groups will show their best choreographic pieces.
