As the press service of the Simferopol airport reported, flights between Crimea and Orsk (Orenburg region) will start on June 3. Flights will be operated by Nordwind airline for the first time since 2017 on Embraer E190 aircraft. Until October 29, flights are scheduled twice a week: to Crimea on Tuesdays and Fridays, in the opposite direction ― on Mondays and Thursdays. Travel time will be about three hours.
Flights from Zhukovskiy to Crimea and back from June 1 will be resumed by Ural Airlines. Flights are scheduled until October 30, three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.
"At the Simferopol airport, a steady increase in the number of flights announced for the summer period continues. The traffic of already open directions increases and new routes are launched. Considering the crisis in international air traffic and the closure of the borders of popular foreign resorts, we have an additional burden and responsibility to serve everyone who wants to relax in Crimea. Preparation for the work in the conditions of the expected record passenger traffic continues at the airport. All measures are being taken to ensure safe and regular flights between Crimea and other regions of our country," said Evgeniy Plaksin, Director-General of the Simferopol International Airport LLC.
