11th All-Russia Open Crimea Forum started in Riviera Sunrise Resort & SPA hotel, Alushta. One of the leading image event has brought together representatives of the authorities of the Russian Federation and Crimea, tour business, experts of the industry from all regions of the country, the correspondent of Crimean Travel Portal reports.
The two-day event was organized by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea with the support from the Federal Tourism Agency (Rostourism). 50 speakers from 11 regions of Russia take part in the Open Crimea discussions, as well as representatives of authorities and tour business from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Stavropol territory, Bashkortostan, Republic of Abkhazia and others. All in all, there are participants from 63 regions of Russia.
"The coming season will be complicated with anti-epidemic measures and high rate of accommodation, and this is a high responsibility. That is why everything, concerning price formation, hotels functioning and all necessary precautions and requirements of the Rospotrebnadzor (Federal consumer protection authority), practices of other regions of the Russian Federation and propagation of all we plan for the coming year to 63 regions of the country — all this is in the agenda of our forum. The issues of [business] legalization, support of human resource potential — everything that is disturbing the industry today." the Minister of Resorts and tourism Vadim Volchenko said.
"One of the key trends is the interest in domestic tourism and all its types — starting from eco-trips to health-improving vacations, family and, of course, beach tourism — the Federal Tourism Agency deputy head Yelena Lysenkova noted, — No doubt, demand stimulation is a very important component, as well as tour product offers under the tourist cashback and other programs, which are sure to be developed so that tourists could choose a type of holiday to their liking and at the same time get the government subsidy for their choice. And we should point out that Crimea is one of the TOP-3 the most interesting and popular destinations in the tourist cashback program – both in the first stages of the program and in the current one."
"We should understand, that the pandemic will be eliminated sooner or later, and all borders will open. And now we have a chance to make everybody want to keep coming to Crimea even when all the borders are open. This is our task for this season. But to make people coming to us we should show how the quality of recreation and the system of guest servicing improved," said Aleksey Chernyak, the Chairman of the Crimea Republic State Council Committee on tourism, resorts and sports.
During two days the Forum participants will discuss tourism industry actual issues and present the all-Russia agenda for the season of 2021. The main issues will be the government support for the travel business, global trends and new points of growth in this industry.
Besides all this, an online session,accessible from all regions of the Russian Federation, will be organized with presentation of the best Crimean practices in post-COVID rehabilitation and recreation. The possibilities of exclusive tourist services and innovative tourist products in the coming season will be presented.
As always the Open Crimea Exhibition takes place within the framework of the Forum. Among its participants there are administrations of the resort territories, travel businesses (accommodation facilities, restaurants, main tour operators and tour agencies), tour industry equipment and goods producers.
