In August, the artistic town of Koktebel will host two significant events − Koktebel Jazz Party and Rap Koktebel. For jazz fans a rich musical program from 20 to 22 August was prepared, fans of rap culture will have an opportunity to enjoy the performance on 24 August, RIA Novosti informs.
"Our festivals from year to year rightfully gain the fame of the most vivid international cultural event on the peninsula, giving the listeners an incredible fusion of musical and natural energies. Koktebel Jazz Party and Rap Koktebel prepare surprises for the guests this summer, I am sure their posters will not disappoint anyone. August in Koktebel will be traditionally hot!" the founder of the Koktebel Jazz Party festival, journalist Dmitry Kiselyov said.

The Koktebel Jazz Festival was launched in 2003 as a private initiative of the founder of Koktebel jazz ― journalist Dmitry Kiselyov. This Crimean town gave its name to the festival, which today occupies a recognized place in the list of the world jazz festivals. The names of the star participants are traditionally kept secret by the organizers. Traditionally, beginners and leading jazz bands from Russia and the world perform at the Koktebel Jazz Party. In 2017, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin became a guest of the festival.
Rap Koktebel is a festival of youth rap culture and music, first held in Crimea in 2019. It was also initiated by Dmitry Kiselyov.
