Thus, in April and May in the cities of the peninsula, the traditional patriotic actions "The Roads of Victory" and "The Train of Victory" are planned to coincide with the anniversary of the Crimean liberation operation of 1944. This year there will be a surprise for residents and guests of the peninsula: a special carriage-museum in the retro-train ― Victory Train ― with an unusual exposition about the participation of Crimeans in the Great Patriotic War.
An all-Russian action "St. George's Ribbon" will also be held in Crimea to distribute symbolic ribbons in memory of the Great Victory, and a traditional partisan May Day rally will take place. This year it is scheduled for May 3, the place is unchanged ― the Angarskiy Pass. In the plan of the event is a solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the "Partisan Headgear" memorial and the memorial sign in honor of the Crimean partisans who died during the Great Patriotic War, veterans’ public speeches, a festive concert, as well as a field kitchen with soldiers' porridge.
The main festive events are scheduled directly for Victory Day. Thus, in Simferopol, a military parade with the participation of veterans, an Immortal Regiment procession and a festive concert on Lenin Square are planned. In the center of the city a Wall of Memory will be installed, where photographs of front-line fighters will be exposed. And the day will end with festive fireworks. In addition to Simferopol, fireworks will also be launched in Theodosia and Kerch.
