"We have a project under the working name Accelerator of Small Towns of Crimea. I hope that next year we will have a pilot implementation of it in several towns. And in the near future we will be able to show the result," explained the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko.
Tatyana Zhuravleva, the head of the Center for Urban Competencies of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives emphasized, that creating a comfortable, safe and friendly environment is a necessary condition for the development of any city. According to her, this will not only improve the quality of life of the population, but also maximize the attraction of tourists: "people always want to return to cozy and comfortable places with a developed infrastructure".
In his turn, the honorary president of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Sergei Shpilko noted that over six years, starting from 2014, Crimea, as a tourist center, has grown as if in several decades, but the question is whether it will remain a "home" Russian resort territory or it will develop as a modern travel destination. Will there be modern resort places with integrated development of large areas? Participation in the forum will help to answer this and many other questions.
