Representatives from more than 30 regions of Russia have already registered to participate in the 10th Open Crimea All-Russian Forum, which will be held in a hybrid format on December 10-11, 2020.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism).
"Online registration is very active, and it confirms the relevance of the forum and its importance for the professional tourist community in Russia. Crimea, as one of the leaders in domestic tourism, acts as a coordinator, and at the event we will sum up the results of this difficult season, identify the prospects for new directions and development models. We will also discuss the formation of a new paradigm of the tourism market, outlined by the Tourism National Project," said Vadim Volchenko, the Head of the Ministry of Resorts of the Republic of Crimea.
Representatives of the hospitality industry, tour operators and excursion bureaus, as well as other industry experts will take part in discussion panels, seminars and round tables. The geography of participants includes more than 30 regions of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar regions, Stavropol and Altai Territories, Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Volgograd, Kostroma cities and others. Tatarstan and Abkhazia − traditional tourist destinations of Russians will also be present.
"The online format, as one of the Rospotrebnadzor (Russian Consumer Protection Athority) requirements for such events, has expanded the audience of the forum. Experts from Italy, Brazil, Serbia will present their successful practices in the implementation of investment projects and specific proposals in the field of tourism based on the examples of world experience," said Vadim Volchenko.
Open Crimea Forum is an annual hallmark event for the industry, a complex event for professionals in the field of tourism, bringing together more than 5 thousand travel industry experts.
