Earlier, before the start of the regular traffic on the four lanes of the Tavrida Highway, all this transit transport could only go through the capital of the Republic", − said the press secretary.

At present, it takes an hour to get from Simferopol to Sevastopol by the Tavrida Highway.

As a reminder: on August 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin opened regular traffic on the Tavrida Highway in Crimea, driving along the new fifth section of the highway.

The highway runs within the boundaries of two Federal entities − the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol. Its length is more than 250 km, the traffic capacity is up to 40 thousand vehicles per day. The speed limit is 120 km/h.
