"Good day, friends, it was a nice sunny day when we were able to complete that long work. <…> The road, the highway, which the President passed today, deserves the highest praise", — he told reporters.

The Head of state also met and talked with the road workers who worked in the construction of the highway. He called Tavrida a modern and beautiful project, but noted that for the convenience of motorists, more exits should be made on the new highway.

"I specially flew over in a helicopter almost the entire route to see it. Of course, it is impressive, modern facility, comfortable and beautiful. It is only necessary to make side roads, exits to the shore, especially needed when the tourist flow is high − people go to the sea", — the president stressed.

The Tavrida highway stretches across the two Federal entities − the Republic of Crimea and the Federal city of Sevastopol. Its length is more than 250 km, the traffic capacity is up to 40 thousand vehicles per day. The speed limit is 120 km/h.
