The creation of this art center will significantly enrich the cultural life of the peninsula, make Crimea a point of attraction not only for tourists, but also for fans of classical art", — the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova said.
"With this grand event we open the first season of the Sevastopol Opera and Ballet Theater and mark the beginning of a great history. The cast of the participants and the program of concerts were prepared in such a way as to make it a holiday to the entire Crimean peninsula. And the fact that leading ballet dancers from different theaters and countries will perform on the same stage for the first time in a long time of pandemic self-isolation makes the gala concert an outstanding event on the cultural map of the whole of Russia", — stressed the theater deputy director, People’s Artist of Russia, Andrei Uvarov.
Beginning of the gala concerts will be at 07:00 a.m.
