On September 12, the World Cup in diving from extreme heights will be held in Crimea for the fourth time. Sportsmen from Russia and other countries will take part in the event, the head of the Republic Sergey Aksyonov wrote on his Facebook page.
Outstanding sportsmen and judges from Russia, Belarus, Great Britain, Spain, Colombia, Luxembourg, Mexico, Romania, USA, Ukraine, France plan to take part in the competitions, which will be staged on the Yalta embankment. The high divers will jump from the world's first modular tower 27 meters high, which was developed and constructed by the Crimean team.
"The Russian Crimea has become a recognized center for extreme sports. Sportsmen and fans of high diving will show by their participation that sport should unite people, strengthen trust between countries and peoples, — Aksyonov said. — Crimea is open for cooperation and is ready to host international events of any level".
The spectacular event will start at 02:00 p.m. on September 12.
