He recalled that interregional tourism started on July 1, and only in the first month of the active season more than 1.4 million guests have spent their vacations in Crimea.

"The quantitative indicators of July are comparable to those of the last year, which was very successful for Crimea. And August, we think, will be even more interesting and productive for the Crimean tourism business. Judging by the number of bookings and the growing traffic flows, we predict that in August we will have at least 1.8 million tourists, and maybe more", — the Minister said.
He stressed that the demand for hotels and health resorts on the peninsula remains high − the level of occupancy of them on the South Coast reaches 95%, and some four- and five-star hotels have already been sold out till the end of the summer. On average, the level of occupancy of Crimean accommodation facilities is about 80%, so guests of the peninsula are able to find a vacation to their liking.
