"From 1 to 31 July, 1 million 432 thousand tourists have spent their vacations in Crimea. 31.9% of them arrived by air, 62.7% − across the Crimean Bridge by cars and buses, 5% − by rail, less than 1% − from abroad, across the border of the Russian Federation on the Armyansk, Dzhankoy, Perekop section of the border", — the Head of the region wrote.

According to Aksyonov, the average occupancy rate of the accommodation facilities in July was 80%, and in a number of resorts the occupancy was 95%.

As it was already reported, Crimea began to receive tourists from other regions of Russia on July 1. There are no restrictions for them in the region. At the same time, Russians arriving in Crimea from abroad, as well as foreigners and stateless persons, are required to undergo an examination for Covid-2019 on the territory of the peninsula within three days and stay under a two-week medical observation.
