Simferopol International Airport took fourth place in the list of the most convenient airports in Russia. The rating was prepared by the authoritative financial and economic magazine Forbes, the press service of the air hub reported.
The air harbor of Crimea lost only to two Moscow airports − Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo − and the international airport of Krasnoyarsk. At the same time, the Crimean airport won the most points in terms of punctuality of flights and baggage claim time. Experts also praised the service, giving it second place in the rating.
In total, Forbes investigated 35 airports with a passenger flow of more than 800 thousand people a year. Their operation was analyzed according to 18 different criteria, grouped into six categories: transport accessibility, route network, airport service, punctuality, baggage waiting and international awards.
