The Republic of Crimea took part in the Sajam Turizma international tourism exhibition, which worked from February 20 to 23 in Belgrade.
For the first time Crimea participated in the Sajam Turizma international tourism exhibition in Belgrade, where it represented the resort and tourism potential of the peninsula at the joint stand of Russia, the press service of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea reported.
During the exhibition a cultural and tourism forum was held in Belgrade with the participation of the regions of Russia and Serbia. During the event, participants learned about the tours developed in the regions of Russia: cultural, educational, and military-historical, prepared for the 75th anniversary of the Victory with the aim to preserve historical memory. They will also get acquainted with health-improving and pilgrim tours. According to the work program of the Crimean Ministry of Resorts, the delegation presented the tourism potential of the region.

According to the Ministry, participation of Crimea in the event has already been noted by the Serbian media. "The News information portal reported about the interest of Serbian tourists in Orthodox churches, monasteries and palaces on the peninsula. Since the "Roads of Victory" is this year’s topic of the Russian tourist regions presentations, visitors were also interested in Yalta, where the conference was held that determined the future of the post-war world, including Serbia", — informed the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism.
