THE MAJOR PROFESSIONAL EVENT OF THE TOURISM INDUSTRY WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE END OF OCTOBER IN SIMFEROPOL. AT THE FORUM THE RESULTS OF THE HIGH RESORT SEASON IN THE SOUTH OF RUSSIA WILL BE SUMMED UP. THE OPEN CRIMEA FORUM WILL BRING TOGETHER THE COUNTRY’S LEADERS OF TRAVEL INDUSTRY.
According to the Crimean ministry of resorts and tourism, on October 29-30, the IX Open Crimea Tourism Forum will be held at the Connect-Center Exhibition in Simferopol. The event will bring together representatives of federal and regional authorities, experts, industry associations and tourism industry players from different regions of the country. Foreign delegations are also expected.
According to the ministry "The forum is supported by the Federal Agency for Tourism and is the only comprehensive professional event in the tourism industry in Crimea gathering over 5,000 leaders of the tourism industry of Crimea and other resort regions of Russia on its site".
The issues of interaction between business and government in the field of tourism will be raised on the first day of the forum. Participants of the event will consider the main directions of the Strategy for the Development of Tourism in the Russian Federation until 2035 and measures for its implementation, discuss measures of government support for the industry, issues of strengthening the competitive ability of the tourism market.

Another topic of the Open Crimea Forum will be activities of small accommodation facilities and their legalization. The participants of the event will discuss issues of improving the legislative regulation of services in residential houses, the control and supervision requirements, ways of guest houses and hostels cooperation with Internet resources for booking services.
Business and training events are planned on the second day of the Forum.
In addition, the inter-regional tourism exhibition Open Crimea Forum will be held within the framework of the event, at which all segments of the hospitality industry will be presented.
