The top 50 includes the best cafés, restaurants, wineries, hotels, eco-parks and resorts with their own production facilities close at hand.
So, the rating includes such Crimean places of gastronomic tourism:
- WinePark − Opolznevoyeh village, Yalta municipality (2nd place);
- Cyclope − a restaurant at the UPPA Winery, Rodnoyeh village, Sevastopol municipality (18th place);
- Crimean Seafood − a seafood farm, Donuzlav Lake, near Eupatoria (19th place);
- Zolotaya Balka − a tourist complex, Balaklava, Sevastopol municipality (24th place).
"Only those companies were allowed to be nominated for voting, that base their business concept on product localization − their food and / or drinks must be produced or harvested within a radius of 100 km. And it's not just about products, but about the best Russian world-class delicacies: excellent cheeses and oysters, foie gras, snails, dry-cured ham, tea, wines and other − predominantly rare − local gastronomic and enological prides. Produced with love and without growth stimulants, preservatives, glutamates, guanylates and other "miracles" of modern chemistry," the organizers said.

The list is based on a vote of 500 leading experts all over the country. The best Russian gastro tourism sites were chosen by sommeliers, restaurateurs, hoteliers, investors, chefs, gourmets, restaurant critics, technologists and specialists from a wide range of enterprises in the field of catering, production and distribution of food, drinks, equipment, goods and services, agriculture, gastro tourism and related sectors of the economy.
Voting was conducted over three months − March, April and May 2022.
