Since 2014, after the reunion of Crimea and Russia, the authorities of the Republic of Crimea declare days-off every year on the occasion of the main Christian and Muslim religious holidays.
Two religious holidays declared days-off in Crimea
In the Republic of Crimea, in connection with the celebration of two religious holidays − Easter and Kurban Bayramı (Eid al-Adha) − additional days-off have been announced. The Decree was signed by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.
