According to statistics, tourists book holidays from 2 to 8 nights and spend from 1.5 to 3.7 thousand rubles (about $ 20 to 49) per day on accommodation. Tourists plan to stay 6 nights in Yalta and spend 2,819 rubles (about $ 38) a day.  

"More than 50% of tourists travel by couples in autumn, 21% travel alone and 12% of families go on trips in October and November," the analysts said.

In addition to Yalta, Sochi and St. Petersburg were among the three leaders in booking holiday accommodation in October and November. In the top 10 there are Moscow, Kazan, Kislovodsk, Kaliningrad, Rostov-on-Don and Suzdal in Russia and Gagra in Abkhazia.
