The season of concerts from the ‘Under the shadow of the Vorontsov plane-tree’ cycle on the territory of the Alupka palace-museum continues. This time, guests will be presented a musical program consisting of the most famous works of Gioacchino Rossini. It will take place on August 6.
Thus, according to the press service of the Vorontsov Palace, fragments from the Italian comic opera The Barber of Seville and the William Tell French-language epic will be performed this evening.
"We invite you to enjoy the unique atmosphere of a magical southern night, accompanied by the intoxicating sounds of the immortal works of the Italian composer Gioacchino Rossini. The sound of Italian opera performed by unsurpassed soloists of the Crimean State Philharmonic Society will reverberate in the diabase decorations of the Vorontsov Palace," the press service noted.
