Experts of the Tvil.ru Vacation Rental Service have found out which lakes tourists are planning to visit on vacation in August. The rating was topped by Lake Saki.
"Lake Saki in Crimea, Lake Seliger in the Tver Region, Lake Bannoye or Yaktykul in Bashkiria, as well as salt lakes in the Orenburg Region and in the Altai Territory, lakes in Karelia, Lake Pleshcheyevo in Pereslavl-Zalesskiy and Lake Baikal are the most popular destinations for recreation on freshwater reservoirs in August for the Russians," the experts reported.

According to them, tourists book vacations on the lakes in August for a period from 2 to 11 nights, and will spend from 2 thousand to 6 thousand rubles ($ 27-80) a day on accommodation.
The list has been compiled based on the data from tourist bookings in August 2021.
