The Tvil.ru vacation booking service compiled the list of TOP-10 most popular destinations for this summer vacations in the South of Russia. The experts’ analysis was based on bookings from June 22 to August 31. The rating includes four Crimean resorts.
So, in the top three: Theodosia, Eupatoria and Alushta. In Theodosia average booking period is 6 nights for 2,871 rubles ($ 38) per day, in Eupatoria − 6 nights and 3,128 rubles ($ 42), in Alushta − 7 nights and 3,225 rubles ($ 43). And Sevastopol is on the 4th place: tourists plan to spend there on average 4 nights for 3148 rubles ($ 43) per day.
The rating includes also the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory (Sochi, Anapa, Gelendzhik) and Abkhazia (Gagra, Pitsunda, Alakhadzy).
"Families with children prefer to come to Russian Black Sea resorts: 35% to Crimea, 39% to the Krasnodar Territory. Couples without children prefer to spend their summer vacations in Abkhazia: 33% (31% of families)," the experts summed up.
