According to Sergei Aksyonov, more than 1.33 million people spent their vacations in Crimea in June, which is 43% more than in June 2019. The majority of tourists (60%) arrived across the Crimean bridge by cars and buses, 32% − by air, 8% − by rail.
The average occupation of operating accommodation facilities in June exceeded 80%. In some regions, this figure was more than 90-95%. For comparison: in 2019, facilities during this period were occupied by an average of 68%.
"Against the background of high rates of tourist flow, compliance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor in all areas related to tourism becomes a priority. This is, first of all, catering, transport, hotels, health resorts. Compliance with these requirements is monitored on a daily basis. Employees of the travel industry are being vaccinated at an accelerated pace," Sergei Aksyonov said.
He urged the guests of Crimea to comply with all restrictions in force in the Republic (mask wearing, social distancing, disinfection measures), as well as to be attentive to the requests of businesses and the requirements in force on the territory of their activities.
