The restrictions are prolonged for 21 calendar days; this is due to the provision of fire safety in the region.

"It is forbidden to make fires, carry out fire hazardous works, the works with the use of open fire in forests and natural ecosystems and the adjacent territories, including burning of litter, dry grass and household waste, carrying out agricultural burns and gas welding. Visiting forests is limited, with the exception of stays on specially equipped recreation places for people," the Ministry informed.

Rescuers also warn that a storm warning was announced on the peninsula on June 16-17 due to a high fire hazard. In particular, it was predicted for the central regions of Crimea.

The staff of the Ministry for Emergency Situations was put on high alert. Rescuers urge residents and guests of Crimea to comply with fire safety rules, and in case of a forest fire, immediately report to the regional coordination service of the Ministry of Natural Resources at the following phone numbers: +7 (3652) 44 28 12, +7 (978) 000 01 92 or at the republican headquarters of the Ministry for Emergencies number 112.
