The Tutu.ru analytical center of trip and travel service found out which railway directions are the most interesting for travelers on the May holidays in 2021. Simferopol is in the TOP 20.
Experts analyzed the data for the period May from 1 to 10. By the way, this year the Russians will have long weekends twice in the decade: three days from the 1st to the 3rd of May and three days from the 8th to the 10th of May.
The first among the popular railway routes is the Moscow – St. Petersburg route. The top five are Moscow – Kazan, Moscow – Nizhniy Novgorod, Kazan – Yekaterinburg, Moscow – Kislovodsk. The Moscow – Simferopol route is in the 13th place. And Krasnodar – Sochi route closes the top twenty in the rating.
According to analysts, in general, the average price of railway tickets in Russia from May 1 to May 10 is 2,713 rubles ($ 36) one way, in 2020 it was 2,076 rubles ($ 28). However, experts add, the price dynamics depends on the directions and type of carriages.
