According to him, the main tourist trends of the coming year are rehabilitation and health improvement, and this is especially important with the view of the spread of coronavirus infection. According to the minister, "the main efforts are now directed at this".
Vadim Volchenko noted that the Rostourism competition for grant support for domestic and inbound tourism development projects was an important stage for the development of the region's tourism infrastructure. About 40 Crimean projects won the grants.
"The projects are aimed at creating an infrastructure that will allow for comfortable and safe outdoor recreation (campings, campsites for auto tourists, modular hotels), as well as the development of new tourist routes and the improvement of existing ones, including navigation, security, organization of recreation areas. The winners of the competition will also open new eco-hotels (glampings), eco-villages, panoramic eco-routes", — the Minister explained.
In addition, for the new holiday season in Crimea, they plan to implement a number of projects to develop and improve the quality of beaches and recreational areas, as well as create an accessible environment for people with disabilities.
Also in 2021 the work will continue on the improvement of Koktebel. Thus, in 2020, the construction of roads and sewage facilities with a system of distributing collectors began in the town. The authorities plan to improve the embankment and create public areas. The Minister assured that all works will be carried out without risks for the next year holiday season.
