On the eve of the holiday season, passenger trains from Arkhangelsk, Velikiy Novgorod, Grozny, Petrozavodsk and Pskov will start coming to Crimea. This was announced at the sitting of the Presidium of the Crimean Parliament by the Director General of the Crimean Railway FSUE Aleksey Gladilin.

"In 2020, the expansion of the geography of long-distance passenger trains in the direction of Arkhangelsk — Simferopol, Pskov — Velikiy Novgorod — Eupatoria, Petrozavodsk — Eupatoria and Grozny — Simferopol is being considered", — RIA Novosti quotes the general director of KZhD (Crimean Railways).
