Koktebel Jazz Party has increased the number of venues for performing musicians. Traditional Main and Voloshinskaya stages, Koktebel water park and Dolphinarium, and now a new one – "Tavrida - ART" − will be added, RIA Novosti writes.
The Koktebel Jazz Party will be held in Koktebel from August 23 to 25. About 20 jazz-bands from the USA, Japan, Singapore, France, Germany and other countries will take part in it. Their names will be announced on the day of the festival opening.
Russian artists will also perform: the Billy's Band from St. Petersburg, jazz-funk group Snake Steak from Moscow, violinist-improvisator and arranger Felix Lahuti and his band Universalove, K.I.M.M. quartet. One of the headliners will be rock singer Julia Chicherina.
In addition, performances of the "Voice. Children" TV show star Yaroslava Degtyareva and jazz singer Sandra Frakenberg from Samara are scheduled.
The Koktebel Jazz Party will also organize an environmental action. On August 24 festival guests, volunteers and local residents will take part in the race, during which they will pick up garbage in the popular tourist parts of Koktebel. In addition, the Koktebel Jazz Party Cup 2019 volleyball tournament will be held. Everyone is welcomed to take part in it.
